Project Overview

Our Senior Design Project Matching Web Application aspires to streamline the process of connecting students with relevant project proposals in the Senior Design class at Iowa State University. Currently, the project assigning process is done manually by course administrators. We intend for this application to be useful to students to select project preferences, clients to submit proposals, and course administrators to facilitate the project assignment.

For this iteration of the project, our primary focus lies in improving the user interface (UI), optimizing the matching algorithm, and enhancing the database structure

In summary, our project seeks to deliver a sophisticated, efficient, and user-centric web application that not only meets the functional needs of students, clients, and administrators but also elevates the overall experience of participants in the Senior Design class. The adoption of Agile practices, coupled with a keen focus on UI, algorithmic optimization, and database enhancement, positions our team at the forefront of transforming the Senior Design project matching process for the better.
